QUESTION 35 Are you aware of these "out of the ordinary" moments?

ANSWER A player arrived for, and left after, a game fully dressed (with skates and skate guards on).

Goalies faced off at centre ice.  See Trivia question 23 for the further details.

New teams were formed for the Tournament in the 1995-96 and 1996-97 seasons.

Due to an illness, Dick Huntley was the only referee for a game.

A team shutout the opposition while playing without their goalie, who was late for the game.

For the 1984-85 Tournament, overtime would be played without goalies and scoring was not allowed from outside the blue line.

In a 9 -6 victory by Black over Orange on 2010 01 05, three players on Black (Darryl Walker, Brent Royles, Tim Boll) and one player on Orange (John Condos) scored hat tricks.

Trailing 3-1 against Black on 2010 10 01 with just over a minute left to play, Yellow pulled their goalie for an extra attacker. John Condos came off the bench and set up Dave Boersma to cut the deficit to one with 56 seconds left. After the ensuing faceoff Yellow pulled their goalie and, once again, Condos came off the bench and set up Andrew Wolfe to tie the score with 25 seconds left.

With only 7 skaters for the game, Yellow scored three unanswered goals in a span of 56 seconds near the end of the game in a 6-5 loss on 2013 11 08. Matt Fleming scored 2 of the goals and assisted on the other, and Jim Peterson assisted on all 3 goals.

On 2014 01 31, Todd Henhawke played the 7 pm game in Thamesford and then drove to Ingersoll, fully dressed with his skate guards on, so he could play the 8:15 pm game.
